In response to this latest threat, Google has announced Chrome 1.75. Just days later, Google confirmed a further 28 successful Chrome exploits. V8 was also targeted late last month with a successful Zero-Day exploit, a classification which means hackers were able to successfully attack the browser before Google was able to release a fix. V8 is Chrome's component responsible for processing JavaScript, the engine at the heart of Chrome.
